The Challenge

The numbers were telling: VitalCare Solutions had incredible products and solutions, but they weren’t being found online.

The internal team was passionate, but scaling an entire SEO strategy needs resources, tools, and the expertise to see those resources through.

The website was being overlooked for the search terms that mattered most.

Business decision-makers from mid-to-large companies simply weren’t finding them.

And without strategic SEO to guide each of these visitors to the site, every click on the website was a potential lost lead.

VitalCare was an island with no bridge to connect to their growth-hungry audience.

A Strategic SEO Overhaul

EcoSEO took on more than just a client – we were a business partner in VitalCare Solutions’ digital presence and market competitiveness.

The team fused an outside perspective with data-based thinking and boots-on-the-ground experience to dig in and get to work on SEO hurdles.

The plan was straightforward: We would identify the appropriate keywords, optimize their site, and produce content tailored to key players in HR and C-suite decision-makers.

Everything we did from this point forward focused on the end goal: lead generation, brand authority and business growth.

Specifically, these goals were to:

  • Drive targeted traffic: Lead organic visitors to their site – the ones in a position to change the way health plans and corporate wellness solutions were sourced.
  • Rank high in search: Put VitalCare on the first page for major keywords in their niche.
  • Create conversion-focused content: Develop resources that were focused on addressing their audience’s real problems and moving visitors to important conversion actions.
  • Establish authority: Build VitalCare’s reputation as an industry leader in the health-tech space by using SEO strategies like link building and content.
  • Design sustainable growth: Build a SEO framework that could not only support the growth of their business but could also be agile and mold to the digital landscape and trends.

Keeping these goals in mind, our team designed a strategy to help VitalCare Solutions gain visibility. The strategy was also built to reach out and directly influence the key decision-makers who could take VitalCare Solutions to the next level of growth.

Targeted Keyword Strategy

Keyword Research, baby. We rolled up our sleeves, whiteboards at the ready, and started researching with analytics from Ahrefs,

Moz and others to find high-intent, high-traffic health-tech industry keywords.

We found search terms with a blend of both specific branded searches like “VitalCare telehealth platforms” and more generic industry terms like “enterprise wellness solutions” or “telehealth for corporate health.”

The objective was to target key phrases that would put VitalCare in front of HR managers and C-level decision-makers with a budget and authority.

Our SEMrush competitors gave us insight into the targeting strategy of other key health-tech players, and fast.

We identified a differentiator that VitalCare could uniquely target. Terms like “tailored telehealth for mid-sized businesses” were being overlooked and we knew would convert to qualified traffic.

Digging into the numbers, we also found that VitalCare was already ranking for keywords, but that certain pages were subpar, and it only took a few edits to make a few of those a quick win.

In the end, we had more than 400 targeted keywords to aim for in our content strategy. These weren’t just targeted by intent—traffic, lead gen, or conversion.

We also categorized each keyword by how it fit into VitalCare’s overarching business goals.

In other words, we had a keyword strategy that would not only get in front of the right audience with engaging content but had the potential to help create a strong foundation for a long-term SEO strategy.

Content Creation & Optimization

Now that we had a strong grasp of our targeted keywords and content strategy in place, it was time to move on to the actual content creation process itself.

Blog posts, landing pages, eBooks, and even case studies were all part of the process.

Each content piece was finely optimized around their selected keywords and, more importantly, based around current pain points their target audience was experiencing in business.

These were skyrocketing healthcare costs, their employees’ demand for increased wellness options, and the need for quickly scalable telehealth services.

We used tools like Surfer SEO and Sitebulb to ensure all on-page components were strong across the board (meta tags, heading structure, keyword density, etc).

But, even more importantly, we kept the entire content creation process focused on readability to ensure everything still sounded like a human wrote it (Keyword stuffing? Forget about it).

Our landing page design was also set up with conversion as the ultimate goal.

Clear CTAs, strong copy, and the inclusion of content that was specifically optimized for transactional user queries were all put into place so that once a site visitor started reading, they were more likely to convert.

On top of that, every piece of content had to not only pass the E-A-T requirements of Google, but it had to sound authoritative and authentic to B2B audience members.

The result? Data showed that their users were spending 45% more time on their site post-optimization, and they were also seeing click-through rates increase by a substantial 30%.

But what we really knew was that VitalCare was finally being found, understood, and trusted by those who needed it most.

Strategic Link Building

We targeted VitalCare’s mentions in authoritative health-tech sites, HR resources from industry publications, niche blogs to professional forums and communities that the end-deciders read and referred.

Pitchbox made our outreach way more than sending a cookie-cutter email to prospects. Tailored, relevant pitches on hand-curated opportunities allowed us to drive guest posts, expert roundups.

Our expert-written article “Revolutionizing Employee Wellness with Telehealth” in MedTech Journal and HR Insights increased exposure and authority in one go. It wasn’t just another link, it was establishing VitalCare’s voice of authority.

We used SEMrush to identify broken links within the industry and replace them with contextually relevant and high-value content from VitalCare.

Every potential backlink was vetted—cross-checking the relevance, domain authority, and actual referral traffic—to ensure quality over quantity and meaningful SEO value. We made sure that the content replaced was topically related to their employee healthcare solutions.

We also balanced dofollow and nofollow links to diversify the backlink profile for a natural look. As a result, VitalCare’s domain authority rose to 43.

Referral traffic from backlinks converted roughly 12% more than their organic search traffic, and, more importantly, the earned links genuinely positioned VitalCare as a credible and trusted health-tech authority.

Ongoing Content & SEO Monitoring

“Set it and forget it” isn’t how we work. We set up an easy-to-manage SEO monitoring system that used Google Analytics, Search Console, and Looker Studio dashboards to quickly see what’s going on with traffic trends, keyword rankings, bounce and the conversion rates, and more.

In this way, VitalCare could spot trends or red flags early on and respond quickly.

When a Google algorithm change affected rankings for many high-value keywords, VitalCare immediately revised meta tags and updated content with new statistics.

Evergreen pieces like “A Complete Guide to Corporate Telehealth Solutions” continue to rank highly months after being published.

Website audits with Sitebulb helped spot outdated content, broken links, or slow-loading pages that could hurt SEO or user experience before they do damage.

At the same time, competitor analysis with Ahrefs enabled VitalCare to see which topics their competitors are ranking for, as well as trending keywords in the niche such as “telehealth for hybrid workplaces”.

The result is a proactive strategy that saw site traffic increase 15% in the final months of the campaign and will continue to keep VitalCare seen, relevant, and competitive in the health-tech niche.

The new traffic was not only higher in number but also more qualified.

There was an increase in visitors from HR managers and C-suite decision makers by 60%, with this demographic increase leading to a 25% increase in requests for product demonstrations.

Visitors are staying on the site and engaging with the content as well, with page loading time now at 1.8 seconds and a 28% reduction in mobile bounce rate.

VitalCare was also featured prominently in Google’s featured snippets for informational searches. This led to an increase in click-through rates by 15%, and a 45% increase in average time spent on their high-quality, useful content pages.
